SEE ALSO...

Liprin α2 Antibody (H-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Liprin alpha 2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Liprin α2 (H-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Liprin alpha 2 protein plays a crucial role in cellular signaling and structural organization, particularly in synapse formation and maintenance in the nervous system. Liprin alpha 2 acts as a scaffold facilitating signaling complex assembly, essential for proper neuronal communication and plasticity. Liprin alpha 2 is involved in focal adhesion disassembly regulation, a process vital for cell migration and tissue remodeling. Liprin alpha 2 is predominantly expressed in brain and prostate, with expression modulated by factors such as dihydrotestosterone in prostate cancer cells, highlighting potential roles in cancer progression. Liprin alpha 2 interaction with leukocyte common antigen-related family of transmembrane protein tyrosine phosphatases underscores importance in various developmental processes, including axon guidance and mammary gland development.

Are there any issues with using sc-393299: Liprin å2 (H-2) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-393299 conjugates.
