LHX9 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LHX9 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-LHX9 antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LHX9 plays a crucial role in the development of the central nervous system, particularly in the differentiation and migration of neural progenitor cells. LHX9 is essential for the proper formation of motor neurons, regulating the expression of other LIM-homeodomain factors that guide motor axons during their trajectory. LHX9′s structure includes a LIM domain, a cysteine-rich zinc-binding motif that facilitates protein-protein interactions, thereby influencing various signaling pathways critical for neuronal development. The human LHX9 gene is located on chromosome 1q31-q32 and encodes a 388 amino acid protein that is closely related to LHX2. Understanding LHX9′s function and interactions provides insights into neural development mechanisms and potential implications for neurodevelopmental disorders.
