Lex A Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Lex A in various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Lex A antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. Lex A, a crucial protein involved in the regulation of gene expression, plays a significant role in bacterial stress response and DNA repair mechanisms. Lex A (C-11) antibody recognizes specific protein interactions, such as with RecA protein, which are vital for maintaining genomic stability and facilitating damaged DNA repair. The interaction between Lex A and RecA helps regulate the SOS response in bacteria, allowing adaptation to environmental stressors.
