LEPREL1 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects LEPREL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). LEPREL1 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LEPREL1, also known as leprecan-like 1, P3H2 (Prolyl 3-hydroxylase 2 precursor), or MLAT4 (Myxoid liposarcoma-associated protein 4), consists of 708 amino acids and is a member of the collagen prolyl hydroxylase family. LEPREL1 plays a crucial role in collagen biosynthesis, folding, and assembly, which are essential processes for maintaining the structural integrity of connective tissues. LEPREL1 is primarily localized in the endoplasmic reticulum, where LEPREL1 forms a complex with cartilage-associated protein (CRTAP) and cyclophilin B (CyPB). This complex is vital for the 3-hydroxylation of proline residues in collagen types I, II, and V, which is critical for normal bone development and overall tissue health. LEPREL1 is expressed in various tissues, including the heart, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, and kidney, with specific localization in the epithelia of bile ducts and the sarcoplasm of heart and skeletal muscle, highlighting its importance in both structural and functional roles within these tissues.
