Datasheets
  • LACE1 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ LACE1 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 424-442 near the C-terminus of LACE1 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of LACE1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for LACE1 Antibody (C-3) for WB and IHC(P) applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with LACE1 Antibody (C-3) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

    SEE ALSO...

LACE1 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects LACE1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-LACE1 antibody (C-3) is available as the non-conjugated form. LACE1, or Lactation Elevated Protein 1, is a 481 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes, particularly in regulating mitochondrial function and energy metabolism. LACE1 is part of the AFG1 ATPase family, which is essential for maintaining mitochondrial integrity and function. Disruptions in mitochondrial processes can lead to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and metabolic syndromes. LACE1 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 6, a region harboring approximately 1,200 genes implicated in various genetic conditions, including certain cancers and autoimmune diseases. LACE1 may also interact with other proteins involved in mitochondrial dynamics, further underscoring its importance in cellular health and disease.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-514632 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
