SEE ALSO...

LACC1 Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects LACC1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-LACC1 antibody (E-12) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. LACC1 is a 430 amino acid protein encoded by a gene located on chromosome 13, which is significant due to its association with several key tumor suppressor genes, including BRCA2 and RB1. RB1 gene encodes a vital tumor suppressor protein that plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle; when mutated, RB1 can lead to uncontrolled cell proliferation and various cancers, including retinoblastoma. LACC1′s presence in cellular processes suggests potential involvement in tumor suppression, making LACC1 an important target for cancer research. Chromosome 13 harbors genes that, when altered, can lead to severe developmental disorders, such as trisomy 13, which is associated with significant morbidity. LACC1 gene product has been provisionally designated pending further characterization, highlighting the need for continued research into biological functions and implications in health and disease.
