L-type Ca++ CP α1D Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects L-type Ca++ CP α1D in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). L-type Ca++ CP α1D (E-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. L-type calcium channels play a crucial role in mediating calcium entry into excitable cells, essential for processes such as muscle contraction, hormone release, and neurotransmitter secretion. Structurally, L-type calcium channels are complex, multimeric assemblies composed of an alpha-1 subunit, an intracellular beta subunit, a disulfide-linked alpha-2/delta subunit, and a transmembrane gamma subunit. This intricate structure allows for precise regulation of calcium ion flow, critical for initiating muscle contractions and endocrine functions. L-type calcium channels form macromolecular signaling complexes with G protein-coupled receptors, enhancing calcium signaling pathway specificity and influencing various physiological responses. Diverse biophysical and pharmacological properties of L-type calcium currents underscore L-type Ca++ CP α1D′s importance in cellular signaling and function, making anti-L-type Ca++ CP α1D antibody (E-3) an invaluable research tool for studying calcium signaling mechanisms.
