    SEE ALSO...

KV9.3 Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KV9.3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KV9.3 (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KV9.3 protein plays a crucial role in regulating potassium ion flow across the plasma membrane, which is essential for maintaining electrical excitability of neurons and muscle cells. KV9.3 is part of the voltage-gated potassium channel family, which is responsible for repolarizing membrane potential after action potentials, thereby influencing frequency and duration of neuronal firing. KV9.3 subunit specifically modulates channel activity, reducing ion flow and contributing to fine-tuning of excitability in various tissues. KV9.3 is predominantly expressed in lung, with minimal presence in peripheral blood lymphocytes, highlighting specialized function in respiratory physiology. Anti-KV9.3 antibody (D-6) effectively detects this target across multiple species and applications, making KV9.3 (D-6) monoclonal antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying ion channel dynamics and their implications in health and disease.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with KV9.3 (D-6): sc-365979?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
