KV3.2 Antibody (H-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KV3.2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KV3.2 (H-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KV3.2 protein plays a crucial role in regulating voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability in excitable membranes, essential for proper repolarization of action potentials in neurons and muscle cells. KV3.2 protein belongs to the voltage-gated potassium (KV) channel family, which consists of over 30 different proteins forming potassium channel subunits. These channels maintain cellular electrical excitability, and dysfunction can lead to various neurological and cardiac disorders. KV3.2 protein features a multipass membrane structure, forming tetramers with other KV subunits to influence channel gating and permeation properties. KV3.2 protein′s unique tail may play a significant role in targeting channels to specific subcellular compartments, critical for regulatory functions and overall cellular signaling.
