    SEE ALSO...

KSHV ORF 62 Antibody (5B7B6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects KSHV ORF 62 protein of KSHV origin by western blotting (WB). Anti-KSHV ORF 62 antibody (5B7B6) is available as the non-conjugated format. KSHV ORF 62 plays a crucial role in the viral life cycle, particularly in the assembly of the viral capsid, where KSHV ORF 62 forms heterotrimeric complexes with ORF 26 proteins. This structural arrangement is essential for the stability and integrity of the capsid, which protects the viral genome and facilitates delivery into host cells. Understanding KSHV ORF 62 function is vital, as KSHV ORF 62 is implicated in the pathogenesis of Kaposi′s sarcoma and other lymphoproliferative disorders, especially in immunocompromised individuals. KSHV ORF 62 interaction with HIV-1 trans-activating protein (HIV-1 Tat) further underscores KSHV ORF 62′s importance in oncogenic processes, as KSHV ORF 62 may enhance the proliferation of abnormal plasma cells in conditions like myeloma. Anti-KSHV ORF 62 antibody (5B7B6) enables researchers to gain insights into the mechanisms of KSHV pathogenesis and interactions with host cellular processes.
