    SEE ALSO...

Kremen-1 Antibody (R17-2) is a rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects Kremen-1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-Kremen-1 antibody (R17-2) is available as a non-conjugated format. Kremen-1 plays a crucial role as a Wnt antagonist, essential for regulating Wnt signaling pathways vital for various developmental processes, including embryogenesis and formation of the central nervous system. Through interaction with Wnt ligands, Kremen-1 helps maintain the balance of Wnt activity, ensuring appropriate modulation of developmental signals. This regulation is particularly important since aberrant Wnt signaling can lead to developmental disorders and contribute to cancer progression. Kremen-1 is primarily located on the cell surface, where Kremen-1 effectively interacts with Wnt proteins and other signaling molecules, influencing cellular responses and developmental outcomes. Kremen-1′s ability to modulate Wnt signaling highlights its significance in developmental biology and potential as a therapeutic target in diseases associated with dysregulated Wnt pathways.

I am using Kremen-1 (R17-2): sc-74206 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

    Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunoprecipitation protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoprecipitation-western-blots
