SEE ALSO...

kpm Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects kpm protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). kpm Antibody (C-2) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. kpm (C-2) antibody recognizes a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family that plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle progression, particularly during mitosis. kpm (C-2) monoclonal antibody targets a protein essential for maintaining proper cell division through phosphorylation of key substrates controlling cell cycle phase transitions. kpm protein expression remains consistent throughout the cell cycle, with significant phosphorylation during mitosis vital for function. Dysregulation or loss of kpm can lead to aberrant cell cycle progression and has been implicated in various human cancers, highlighting kpm′s importance as a potential therapeutic target. kpm shares highest homology with human LATS1 protein, which negatively regulates Cdc2 kinase activity during early mitosis, further emphasizing kpm′s significance in cellular processes.
