KLRG2 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects KLRG2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KLRG2 (B-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLRG2, also known as killer cell lectin-like receptor subfamily G member 2 or CLEC15B, is a 409 amino acid single-pass membrane protein characterized by the presence of a C-type lectin domain, which plays a crucial role in immune response regulation. KLRG2 is primarily located on the surface of natural killer (NK) cells and T cells, where KLRG2 functions as an inhibitory receptor that modulates the activity of these immune cells. KLRG2 expression helps maintain immune homeostasis by preventing excessive activation of NK and T cells, which could lead to tissue damage and autoimmune disorders. Additionally, KLRG2 has been implicated in the regulation of memory T cell responses, making KLRG2 a significant marker for understanding immune memory and potential therapeutic targets in cancer and infectious diseases.
