    SEE ALSO...

KLK7 Antibody (H-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KLK7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KLK7 antibody (H-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLK7, a member of the kallikrein family, plays a significant role in regulating various physiological processes, including skin desquamation and modulation of inflammatory responses. KLK7 is primarily located in the skin and secreted into the extracellular space, where KLK7 influences keratinocyte behavior and contributes to skin homeostasis maintenance. KLK7′s location importance is underscored by involvement in skin disorders, such as atopic dermatitis and psoriasis, where dysregulation of kallikrein activity can lead to impaired barrier function and increased susceptibility to infections. The human KLK gene family consists of 15 serine proteases, and while specific functions of many members remain to be fully elucidated, KLK7′s activity is crucial for maintaining skin integrity and health.
