    SEE ALSO...

KLHL36 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KLHL36 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KLHL36 (E-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KLHL36 protein, consisting of 616 amino acids, features six Kelch repeats, a BTB/POZ domain, and a BTB/Kelch associated (BACK) domain, which are crucial for function in protein ubiquitination. KLHL36 plays a significant role as a substrate-specific adapter in an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex, facilitating transfer of ubiquitin from E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes to target proteins destined for degradation. KLHL36 interacts with CUL-3, a member of the cullin family essential for selective targeting of proteins for ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis. Due to alternative splicing events, two isoforms of KLHL36 are expressed, contributing to functional diversity in different biological contexts.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390052 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
