KIR3DL1 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KIR3DL1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KIR3DL1 (B-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The killer immunoglobulin-like receptors (KIRs) play a crucial role in the regulation of natural killer (NK) cell responses by recognizing human leukocyte antigen (HLA) class I molecules, and KIR3DL1 specifically interacts with HLA-B antigens that possess the Bw4 allele, transmitting an inhibitory signal that prevents NK cell-mediated cytotoxicity. KIR3DL1 is a type I transmembrane protein composed of 444 amino acids and features three immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, which are essential for immune regulation function. Proper functioning of KIR3DL1 is vital for maintaining immune homeostasis and preventing autoimmunity, as KIR3DL1 helps to distinguish between healthy cells and those that are infected or transformed. Human KIR3DL1 is located on chromosome 19q13.4, highlighting KIR3DL1′s significance in the genetic landscape of immune response regulation.
