KCNQ4 Antibody (F-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects KCNQ4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-KCNQ4 antibody (F-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KCNQ4 plays a crucial role in the auditory system, specifically in the function of sensory outer hair cells, which are essential for normal hearing. Mutations in KCNQ4 can disrupt potassium ion flow necessary for proper functioning of these hair cells, leading to auditory deficits and deafness. Understanding KCNQ4 structure and function is vital, as KCNQ4 is part of the KCNQ family of potassium channels that regulate electrical signaling in various tissues, including the brain and inner ear. KCNQ4 is characterized by six transmembrane domains, which are critical for forming potassium ion channels. Using KCNQ4 (F-10) antibody in research can help explore implications of KCNQ4 mutations in auditory pathologies and contribute to understanding genetic factors in hearing loss.

Hi, I'm looking for a KV7.4 antibody and I was wondering whether it was possible to get a sample before buying it, to make sure I am able to detect the protein in my samples, since I have some trouble finding an efficient antibody. Many thanks. Salomé
