    SEE ALSO...

JMJD5 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects JMJD5 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). JMJD5 (D-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. JMJD5, known as jumonji domain containing 5, is primarily located in the nucleus and plays a crucial role as a histone lysine demethylase, essential for gene expression regulation and chromatin remodeling. JMJD5′s ability to demethylate histones is vital for maintaining proper cellular function and genomic stability, influencing DNA accessibility for transcription and repair processes. Notably, the C. elegans homolog of JMJD5 protects the genome from insertions and deletions, suggesting mammalian JMJD5 may function as a tumor suppressor. JMJD5 knockdown in mouse fibroblasts increases mutation rates and enhances tolerance to DNA-damaging agents, indicating involvement in DNA mismatch repair mechanisms. JMJD5 serves both epigenetic regulation and genomic integrity maintenance functions, making JMJD5 a critical target for cancer biology research and therapeutic development.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from décevantnous avons testé l'anticorps en WB, on observe beaucoup de bruit de fond et pas de bande à la taille attendue, un contrôle positif de surexpression dans des cellules U2OS n'est pas apparu (dilution 1/500 et 1/250). En IF on n'observe aucun marquage spécifique seulement du bruit de fond (dilution 1/500) sur des cellules U2OS.
