JMJD2C Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects JMJD2C of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-JMJD2C antibody (D-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. JMJD2C, also known as GASC1, KDM4C, or JHDM3C, is a crucial nuclear protein that belongs to the Jumonji domain 2 family of histone demethylases. JMJD2C plays a vital role in gene expression regulation by specifically demethylating trimethylated lysine residues on Histone H3, thereby influencing histone code and promoting chromatin remodeling. JMJD2C binds iron as a cofactor and features two Tudor domains that enable interaction with methylated histones, further underscoring significance in epigenetic regulation.
