    SEE ALSO...

JIP-2 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects JIP-2 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). JIP-2 (A-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. JIP-2 plays a crucial role in the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling pathway, which is vital for cellular responses to stress, such as ultraviolet light exposure. JIP-2 acts as a scaffold protein that facilitates the interaction between JNKs and their substrates, thereby influencing the phosphorylation of key transcription factors like c-Jun. This interaction is essential for regulating gene expression in response to stress signals, making JIP-2 a significant player in cellular signaling and stress response mechanisms. Additionally, JIP-2 is known to interact with other proteins in the JNK signaling cascade, including JIP-1, which can modulate JNK activity and localization. JIP-2′s ability to coordinate these interactions underscores its importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental challenges.
