JAK3 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgA kappa light chain antibody that detects JAK3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). JAK3 (B-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. JAK3, or Janus kinase 3, is a crucial component of the non-receptor Janus tyrosine kinase family, playing a vital role in mediating cellular responses to cytokines and growth factors, particularly in the lympho-hematopoietic system. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, JAK3 is essential for the signaling pathways activated by various cytokine receptors, including those for interleukins and interferons. Upon activation, JAK3 phosphorylates signal transducer and activator of transcription (Stat) proteins, which then dimerize and translocate to the nucleus to regulate gene expression. This process is critical for maintaining immune homeostasis, as JAK3 influences cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival, thereby enhancing the body′s ability to respond to infections and inflammation. Dysregulation of JAK3 signaling has been implicated in several immune disorders, making JAK3 a significant target for therapeutic intervention in inflammatory diseases.
