    SEE ALSO...

ITI-H1 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ITI-H1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ITI-H1 (F-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The inter-α-trypsin inhibitor (ITI) family, to which ITI-H1 belongs, consists of structurally related plasma serine protease inhibitors synthesized in the liver, comprising different combinations of three highly homologous heavy chains (ITI-H1, ITI-H2, and ITI-H3) and one light chain (Bikunin). ITI-H1 plays a crucial role in regulating proteolytic activity in the extracellular matrix, which is vital for maintaining tissue homeostasis and modulating inflammatory responses. Notably, ITI-H1 interacts with hyaluronic acid, contributing to the stabilization of the pericellular matrix, which is essential for cell signaling and tissue repair processes. Additionally, while ITI-H1, along with ITI-H3 and Bikunin, exhibits anti-tumoral and antimetastatic properties, ITI-H1 is also implicated in the malignant transformation of lung tissue and is associated with calcium oxalate stone formation in the kidney and urine. The diverse functions and interactions of ITI-H1 underscore its importance in both physiological and pathological contexts, making anti-ITI-H1 antibody (F-5) a valuable tool for researchers studying these complex biological processes.
