ISY1 Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ISY1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ISY1 (G-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ISY1, consisting of 331 amino acids, plays a crucial role in the spliceosome C complex, which is essential for the splicing of pre-mRNA—a vital process in the posttranscriptional regulation of gene expression. Proper functioning of ISY1 contributes to the accuracy of mRNA splicing, thereby influencing the production of functional proteins and overall gene expression profile within cells. Additionally, ISY1 exists in three isoforms due to alternative splicing, and is located on chromosome 3, which harbors over 1,100 genes, including those related to chemokine receptors and various cancer-related loci. Anti-ISY1 antibody (G-6) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying the dynamics of mRNA processing and its implications in cellular function and disease.
