I have question regarding IRF5 antibody. I read on your home page “Gene knockdown or activation can be assayed using IRF-5 Antibody (C-6): sc-390364”. Does this mean that your antibody has been validated using with and without IRF5 in matrix?

Thank you for your question. This mouse monoclonal antibody, IRF-5 (C-6): sc-390364, is recommended as a suitable control antibody for validation of protein knockdown by Western blotting, IF or IHC(P), based on the specificity of this monoclonal antibody. The antibody has not yet been validated using the IRF-5 CRISPR/Cas9 KO Plasmids.
