IRF-4 Antibody (F-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IRF-4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IRF-4 (F-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Interferon regulatory factor-4 (IRF-4) plays a crucial role in the immune system as a transcriptional activator that regulates the expression of genes involved in immune responses, particularly in lymphoid cells. IRF-4 is essential for the differentiation of T helper 2 cells and the development of plasma cells, which are vital for antibody production. IRF-4′s ability to bind to the interferon-stimulated response element (ISRE) of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) class I promoter underscores IRF-4′s importance in modulating immune responses and maintaining immune homeostasis.
