IRF-3 Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to recognize the Interferon Regulatory Factor 3 (IRF-3) protein with exceptional precision. IRF-3 monoclonal antibody (D-3) targets a unique epitope mapping between amino acids 389-427 near the C-terminus of human IRF-3, ensuring robust detection across mouse, rat, and human samples using western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) applications. IRF-3 is a critical transcription factor involved in the innate immune response, particularly in the detection of viral infections and the activation of type I interferons such as IFN-β. Structurally, IRF-3 consists of several domains, including a DNA-binding domain, an IRF association domain, and a regulatory C-terminal domain. Anti-IRF-3 antibody (D-3) targets the C-terminus, which plays a pivotal role in protein activation and regulation through phosphorylation, dimerization, and subsequent nuclear translocation. This structural configuration is essential for IRF-3′s ability to bind specific DNA elements and initiate the transcription of antiviral genes, making IRF-3 a vital component in orchestrating the body′s defense mechanisms against pathogens. IRF-3 monoclonal antibody (D-3) enables researchers to study activation dynamics and functional interactions within cells, providing valuable insights into immune signaling pathways and molecular mechanisms underlying various diseases. Available in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, anti-IRF-3 antibody (D-3) offers versatile tools for comprehensive investigations into IRF-3 structural and functional aspects, facilitating advancements in immunology and therapeutic research.
