IRF-1 Antibody (H-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IRF-1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IRF-1 antibody (H-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Interferon regulatory factor-1 (IRF-1) plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a transcriptional activator for type I interferons, which are vital for antiviral defense and immune regulation. IRF-1 is primarily located in the nucleus, where IRF-1 binds to specific DNA sequences in the promoters of interferon-α and interferon-β genes, thereby facilitating their transcription.
