SEE ALSO...

IP6K2 Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IP6K2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IP6K2 antibody (G-9) is offered in both non-conjugated and multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IP6K2 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by converting inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6) into pyrophosphate inositol pentakisphosphate (PP-InsP5), which is essential for regulating calcium influx across the plasma membrane and subsequently influencing insulin exocytosis. This enzymatic activity links inositol phosphate metabolism to energy transfer processes within the cell, highlighting IP6K2′s significance in metabolic regulation and cellular communication. InsP6′s ability to inhibit serine/threonine protein phosphatases further underscores IP6K2′s importance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and signaling pathways.
