IP6K1 Antibody (A-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IP6K1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IP6K1 antibody (A-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IP6K1 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by converting inositol hexakisphosphate (InsP6) into pyrophosphate inositol pentakisphosphate (PP-InsP5), which is essential for regulating calcium influx across the plasma membrane and mediating insulin exocytosis. This function is particularly important in metabolic processes and cellular communication, as IP6K1 influences the activity of serine/threonine protein phosphatases.
