SEE ALSO...

IP-10 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects IP-10 protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IP-10 (E-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IP-10, also known as C-X-C Motif Chemokine Ligand 10, plays a crucial role in the immune response by acting as a chemokine that attracts immune cells to sites of inflammation, thereby facilitating the body′s defense mechanisms against pathogens. IP-10 ability to recruit T cells and other immune cells makes IP-10 essential for the regulation of inflammatory processes and the development of various immune-related diseases. Understanding IP-10 function is vital for developing therapeutic strategies targeting inflammatory conditions, as well as for studying IP-10 role in diseases such as cancer and autoimmune disorders. IP-10 is part of the C-X-C chemokine subfamily, which is characterized by the presence of two cysteine residues separated by an amino acid, distinguishing IP-10 from other chemokine subfamilies.

Hello, I wanted to know if this product (IP-10 Antibody (E2)) is suitable for flow cytometry? Possible conjugates for FCM are listed on the product description, but I do not see any indication of FCM as a certified application? Thank you!

Asked by: Megan
Thank you for your question. sc-374092 IP-10 (E-2) has not been validated for flow cytometry. If you would like to test the antibody for flow cytometry here is our protocol : https://www.scbt.com/resources/protocols/flow-cytometry

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374092 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
