Integrin β5 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Integrin β5 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Integrin β5 antibody (F-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Integrins, including Integrin β5, are crucial for cell adhesion and signaling, as these heterodimers form through noncovalently associated transmembrane α and β subunits. The structural diversity of integrins, with 16 α and 8 β subunits capable of forming over 20 different receptor combinations, allows binding to various ligands found in the extracellular matrix, such as fibronectin, collagen, and vitronectin.
