Integrin αX Antibody (KB90) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin αX in human samples through applications such as immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM). Integrin αX is a type 1 transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune system by forming a leukocyte-specific integrin when combined with the β2 chain, known as the inactivated-C3b receptor 4 (CR4). Anti-Integrin αX antibody (KB90) recognizes a protein essential for mediating the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to activated endothelial cells, as well as facilitating the phagocytosis of complement-coated particles, which is vital for the clearance of pathogens and debris from the body. Notably, abnormal expression of Integrin αX is associated with hairy cell leukemia, highlighting its significance in cancer biology and the activation of proto-oncogenes such as Ras and JunD. The transcription of Integrin αX is influenced by various proteins and DNA elements, including Sp1, AP-1 family members, and PU.1, which underscores the complexity of its regulation.
