Integrin αX Antibody (2Q865) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Integrin αX in human samples through immunoprecipitation (IP) and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. Integrin αX is a type 1 transmembrane protein that plays a crucial role in the immune response by forming a leukocyte-specific integrin when combined with the β2 chain, known as the inactivated-C3b receptor 4 (CR4). Anti-Integrin αX antibody (2Q865) recognizes a protein essential for mediating the adherence of neutrophils and monocytes to activated endothelial cells, facilitating their migration to sites of inflammation, and promoting the phagocytosis of complement-coated particles. Proper functioning of Integrin αX is vital for effective immune surveillance and response, as abnormal expression is associated with hairy cell leukemia, highlighting significance in both normal physiology and disease states. Additionally, transcription of Integrin αX is regulated by various proteins and DNA elements, including Sp1, AP-1 family members, and PU.1, which underscores the complexity of expression and function in immune cells. Integrin αX is predominantly found on monocyte-derived dendritic cells, macrophages, and natural killer cells, and upon activation, dendritic cells can migrate from peripheral tissues to lymphoid organs, where they interact with T and B cells to initiate and modulate adaptive immune responses.
