Integrin αM Antibody (ICRF44) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to target Integrin αM, also known as CD11b, ITGAM, Mac-1 α subunit, complement component receptor-3 α (CR3α), and macrophage antigen α polypeptide. Integrin αM is a crucial heterodimeric cell adhesion molecule composed of the αM subunit paired with the β2 subunit, forming the Mac-1 or CR3 complex. This structural configuration is essential for mediating interactions between immune cells and the extracellular matrix, facilitating processes such as leukocyte adhesion, migration, and phagocytosis. Located on the surface of immune cells like monocytes and macrophages, Integrin αM enables these cells to adhere to and traverse the endothelial barrier during inflammatory responses, as well as recognize and engulf pathogens through binding to complement-coated particles. Anti-Integrin αM antibody (ICRF44) is raised against Integrin αM derived from rheumatoid synovial cells and human monocytes, and detects the protein in multiple species, including mouse, rat, and human. Integrin αM (ICRF44) monoclonal antibody is validated for use in various applications such as immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and flow cytometry (FCM), making this tool invaluable for researchers investigating immune cell functions, inflammatory mechanisms, and related pathological conditions. By targeting the structurally and functionally significant Integrin αM, anti-Integrin αM antibody (ICRF44) facilitates detailed studies into the molecular mechanisms underpinning immune responses, aiding in the development of therapeutic strategies for immune-mediated diseases.
