    SEE ALSO...

INSL4 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects INSL4 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-INSL4 antibody (G-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. INSL4, a 139 amino acid secreted peptide, is primarily expressed in the placenta, uterus, and fetal perichondrium, where INSL4 plays a crucial role in regulating bone formation and trophoblast development. This regulation is vital for proper placental function and fetal development, as trophoblasts are essential for implantation and nutrient exchange between the mother and fetus. Additionally, INSL4 belongs to the insulin-like peptide family, which includes several other members involved in various metabolic processes and tissue-specific functions. INSL4′s influence on these processes highlights INSL4′s significance in reproductive health and developmental biology, making INSL4 (G-2) monoclonal antibody an important tool for researchers studying these areas.

Can INSL4 (G-2): sc-373728 monoclonal antibody be used to stain formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections?

    Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your question. Yes, INSL4 (G-2): sc-373728 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections. We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining
