    SEE ALSO...

INPP1 Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects INPP1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). INPP1 (F-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. INPP1, or inositol polyphosphate 1-phosphatase, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by hydrolyzing inositol phosphates, which are vital for numerous cellular processes such as neuronal survival and signal transduction from growth factors, neurotransmitters, and G protein-coupled receptors. This 399 amino acid protein is widely expressed, with highest levels found in pancreas and kidney, and is a key player in phosphatidylinositol signaling pathway. By removing phosphate group at position one of inositol ring from polyphosphates like inositol 1,4-bisphosphate and inositol 1,3,4-trisphosphate, INPP1 modulates various physiological responses, including those related to cardiac function. Notably, overexpression of INPP1 has been linked to reduced responses to atrial natriuretic peptide and myosin light chain 2, which are associated with contraction-induced hypertrophy. Furthermore, defects in INPP1 have been implicated in neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism and manic-depressive illness, highlighting its importance in both cellular function and human health.
