ING4 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ING4 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ING4 Antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The inhibitor of growth protein (ING) family, which includes ING4, plays a crucial role in tumor suppression by modulating the transcriptional outputs of key signaling pathways that regulate cell proliferation. ING4 is localized in the nucleus, where anti-ING4 antibody (A-8) can inhibit tumor progression by adjusting the transcriptional output of these pathways. Notably, when complexed with RELA, ING4 has been shown to suppress brain tumor angiogenesis through the transcriptional repression of RELA/NFKB3 target genes. Additionally, ING4 interacts with hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase 2 (EGLN1), which is essential for regulating the activity of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF), thereby influencing cellular responses to low oxygen levels. This multifaceted role of ING4 in cellular signaling and tumor suppression underscores its importance in cancer research and therapeutic development.
