IL-19 Antibody (A-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IL-19 of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-IL-19 antibody (A-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IL-19, a member of the interleukin-10 family, is a 53 kDa cytokine that plays a crucial role in immune regulation and inflammation. IL-19 is primarily secreted by activated monocytes and macrophages and is involved in the differentiation of T helper cells, particularly promoting the Th2 immune response. This function helps regulate inflammatory processes and has implications in various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and cancers. IL-19 has also been shown to interact with specific receptors, such as IL-20R1 and IL-20R2, which are important for mediating biological effects. IL-19′s influence on immune cell behavior makes this protein a key player in the pathogenesis of conditions like psoriasis and non-Hodgkin′s lymphoma, highlighting potential as a therapeutic target.
