IL-17R Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IL-17R of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IL-17R (G-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IL-17R, a type I transmembrane protein consisting of 864 amino acids, plays a crucial role in mediating immune response by binding to interleukin-17 (IL-17). This interaction triggers a cascade of signaling events that lead to immune cell activation and production of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as IL-6 and IL-8. IL-17R is predominantly expressed in spleen and kidney, highlighting importance in immune regulation and inflammation. Dysregulation of IL-17 signaling has been implicated in various autoimmune diseases, making IL-17R studies essential for understanding and potentially targeting these conditions.
