IL-17R Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects IL-17R in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IL-17R, a type I transmembrane protein consisting of 864 amino acids, plays a crucial role in mediating the effects of the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-17, which is essential for the immune response and the regulation of inflammation. IL-17R is predominantly expressed in the spleen and kidney, highlighting its importance in immune system function and tissue homeostasis. Upon binding with IL-17, IL-17R activates downstream signaling pathways that lead to the production of various pro-inflammatory cytokines, including IL-6 and IL-8, thereby amplifying the inflammatory response.
