IL-17 Antibody (TC11-18H10) is a rat monoclonal IgG1 antibody raised against recombinant full-length interleukin-17 (IL-17) of mouse origin. IL-17, also known as IL-17A or CTLA-8, is a pro-inflammatory cytokine produced primarily by Th17 cells, a subset of T-helper cells. IL-17 plays a crucial role in immune responses by inducing the production of other cytokines like IL-6 and IL-8 and enhancing the expression of adhesion molecules such as ICAM-1 on fibroblasts and endothelial cells.
