SEE ALSO...

IL-15Rα Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IL-15R alpha protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IL-15Rα (G-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IL-15R alpha protein plays a crucial role in the immune system by serving as a receptor for interleukin-15, a cytokine essential for T cell and natural killer (NK) cell proliferation and activation. IL-15R alpha is primarily located on immune cell surfaces, where IL-15R alpha facilitates IL-15 binding, leading to enhanced immune responses. IL-15R alpha interaction with IL-15 maintains lymphocyte homeostasis, particularly in immune surveillance and infection response. IL-15R alpha regulates memory T cell survival and NK cell development, making IL-15R alpha crucial for both innate and adaptive immunity. IL-15R alpha expression on various immune and non-immune cells underscores IL-15R alpha importance in orchestrating immune responses and highlights IL-15R alpha potential as a therapeutic target in immunological disorders.

Hello, could you please share with me the epitope range, or sequence of neutralizing peptide? Description says the "between amino acids 21-54", but until 30 is usually described as signal peptide, I am a bit confused. Thanks

What is the appropriate isotype control for IL-15Rα Antibody (G-3) FITC (sc-374023) ? Could you please provide the catalog number? Thanks.

Asked by: Joanna_W
Thank you for your question. IL-15Rα Antibody (G-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a. The recommended isotype control conjugated to FITC is our normal mouse IgG2a-FITC: sc-2856.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-374023 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
