SEE ALSO...

IL-10Rβ Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IL-10R beta protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IL-10Rβ (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IL-10Rβ (F-6) monoclonal antibody targets a receptor that plays a crucial role in immune regulation by mediating the anti-inflammatory effects of interleukin-10 (IL-10), a cytokine vital for controlling immune responses and preventing excessive inflammation. IL-10Rβ is expressed in various immune cells, including B cells and T helper cells, and is essential for forming the functional IL-10 receptor complex. IL-10Rβ also forms heterodimers with IL-22R and IL-28R subunits, expanding its role in cytokine signaling. IL-10Rβ′s ability to modulate immune responses is particularly important in conditions such as autoimmune diseases and chronic inflammatory disorders, where IL-10 signaling can help restore balance and promote healing. IL-10Rβ is constitutively expressed on human natural killer (NK) cells, and direct interaction with IL-10 enhances cytokine production, highlighting its significance in innate immunity. anti-IL-10Rβ antibody (F-6) serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying the intricate mechanisms of immune regulation and the therapeutic potential of targeting IL-10 signaling pathways.

Is it possible to detect also glycosylated forms of IL-10RB with this antibody?

Asked by: AS89
Thank you for your question. We have not specifically tested IL-10Rβ Antibody (F-6): sc-271969 to evaluate whether the antibody detects glycosylated forms of IL-10Rβ. This would have to be determined experimentally, using appropriate controls. For a limited time, we are offering a free 10 µg sample of this antibody. Please contact our Technical Service Department if you would like to request a sample for testing. Please call our European Support office toll-free at 00800 4573 8000, email europe@scbt.com, or contact us by live chat.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-271969 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
