IKKβ Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects IKK beta of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IKKβ Antibody (H-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IKKβ plays a crucial role in the regulation of the NF-kB signaling pathway, which is vital for controlling immune responses, inflammation, and cell survival. Specifically, IKKβ is responsible for phosphorylating the inhibitory protein IkB, leading to its degradation and the subsequent release and activation of NF-kB. This process is essential for the transcription of genes involved in immune and inflammatory responses, making IKKβ a key player in various physiological and pathological conditions, including cancer and autoimmune diseases. The functional IKK complex, which includes IKKα, IKKβ, and IKKγ (NEMO), is critical for the phosphorylation of IkB, and understanding the dynamics of this complex can provide insights into therapeutic targets for diseases associated with dysregulated NF-kB signaling.
