IGF-IRβ Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody raised against amino acids 741-800 of human IGF-IRβ, also known as insulin-like growth factor 1 receptor beta or CD221. Anti-IGF-IRβ antibody (F-1) is validated for applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), with reactivity in mouse, rat, and human species. IGF-IR is a receptor tyrosine kinase encoded by the IGF-IR gene on chromosome 15q26.3, and IGF-IR structure is essential for function in cellular signaling. IGF-IR receptor is composed of α and β subunits; α subunits are extracellular and responsible for ligand binding, while β subunits span the membrane and contain an intracellular tyrosine kinase domain.
