ICAM-1 Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody raised against amino acids 258-365 of human ICAM-1, demonstrating reactivity with mouse, rat, and human species. Anti-ICAM-1 antibody (G-5) is suitable for applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ICAM-1, also known as CD54 or intercellular adhesion molecule-1, is a transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the immunoglobulin superfamily. Located primarily on the cell surface membrane, ICAM-1 plays a crucial role in mediating cell-cell interactions and adhesion. ICAM-1 is expressed on endothelial cells and immune cells, with expression upregulated in response to inflammatory cytokines.
