I2PP2A Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects I2PP2A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-I2PP2A antibody (F-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. I2PP2A protein, also known as inhibitor of protein phosphatase 2A, plays a crucial role in regulating cellular processes by selectively inhibiting the activity of the major serine/threonine phosphatase, protein phosphatase 2A (PP2A). This inhibition is significant because PP2A is involved in various signaling pathways that control cell growth, division, and apoptosis, making I2PP2A a key player in cellular regulation and a potential target for cancer therapies. Notably, I2PP2A is predominantly localized in the nucleus, where I2PP2A is highly expressed in Wilms′ tumor cells, suggesting involvement in tumorigenesis. Furthermore, transient expression of I2PP2A in HEK-293 cells has been shown to enhance DNA binding activity of proto-oncogene c-Jun, linking I2PP2A to oncogenic signaling pathways.
