SEE ALSO...

HYLS1 Antibody (D-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects HYLS1 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HYLS1 is a highly conserved protein crucial for the formation of cilia, which are essential for various cellular functions, including signaling pathways and cellular motility. The proper assembly and function of cilia are vital for normal embryonic development and tissue homeostasis, as defects in cilia can lead to a range of developmental disorders and diseases, including hydrolethalus syndrome, characterized by severe malformations such as hydrocephaly and absent midline structures in the brain. The gene encoding HYLS1 is located on human chromosome 11, a region known for its density of gene and disease associations, which underscores the importance of HYLS1 in both normal physiology and disease states. Additionally, the chromosome 11 encoded Atm gene plays a significant role in regulating cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in response to DNA damage, with mutations in Atm leading to ataxia-telangiectasia, further highlighting the interconnectedness of these genetic factors in cellular health. HYLS1 (D-9) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying cilia-related functions and associated pathologies.

Hi, I am looking to purchase HYLS1 (D-9) antibody for its localization at centrioles. Since your images show a strong cytoplasmic localization, Would it be possible to get a small aliquot of this antibody for a trial staining experiment?

Asked by: Maneesha
Thank you for your question. At this time, We do not offer a sample size for sc-376721 HYLS1 (D-9). To receive information about our antibody sample program for other options please email scbt@scbt.com.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376721 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
