Datasheets
  • HYLS1 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 κ HYLS1 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
  • specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 38-57 within an internal region of HYLS1 of human origin
  • recommended for detection of HYLS1 of mouse, rat and human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
  • m-IgG3 BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for HYLS1 Antibody (F-12) for WB and IHC(P) applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with HYLS1 Antibody (F-12) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

HYLS1 Antibody (F-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects HYLS1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HYLS1 (F-12) antibody is available as a non-conjugated antibody. Hydrolethalus syndrome protein 1 (HYLS1) is a highly conserved protein crucial for cilia formation, essential for various cellular functions, including cell signaling and movement. Proper cilia formation is vital for normal embryonic development and organ function; disruptions in this process can lead to severe developmental disorders. Mutations in HYLS1 can cause hydrolethalus syndrome, a perinatal lethal condition characterized by significant malformations, including central nervous system anomalies such as hydrocephaly and absent midline structures, as well as micrognathia and polydactyly. HYLS1 is located on human chromosome 11, a region known for its density of gene and disease associations, which includes the Atm gene, important for regulating cell cycle arrest and apoptosis in response to DNA damage. Understanding HYLS1′s role in cilia formation and developmental disorders highlights its significance in both basic biology and clinical research.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393492 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not quite good for IFI tried to analyze HYLS1 signals at basal body using this antibody. the first time I can observe weak signals (1:1000), but the second time when I increase the concentration (1:200), I can see nothing.
