HS2ST1 Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HS2ST1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HS2ST1 (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HS2ST1, also known as heparan sulfate 2-O-sulfotransferase 1, is a 356 amino acid single-pass type II membrane protein primarily localized in the Golgi apparatus and belongs to the sulfotransferase 3 family. HS2ST1 plays a critical role in heparan sulfate biosynthesis, a polysaccharide essential for various biological activities, including cell signaling and ligand binding. HS2ST1 catalyzes sulfate group transfer to hexuronic acid residues in maturing heparan sulfate, a modification vital for proper heparan sulfate function in mediating interactions between cells and their environment. Additionally, HS2ST1 undergoes post-translational N-glycosylation, which can influence stability and activity, and may play a role in kidney development. HS2ST1′s ability to regulate heparan sulfate structure and function underscores its importance in developmental processes and disease mechanisms, making anti-HS2ST1 antibody (G-10) a valuable research tool for studying these pathways.
